Santa Cruz County Bank and 1st Capital Bank are now West Coast Community Bank

On April 1, 2025, we officially became West Coast Community Bank!

Santa Cruz County Bank and 1st Capital Bank came together through a shared focus on client service and commitment to community. Now, we continue our collective adventure as West Coast Community Bank (WCCB)! Through this name, we embody the breadth of the communities we serve and the values we share in Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo and Santa Clara counties and beyond.

While our name has changed, what matters most has stayed the same–our commitment to personalized service, meaningful community investment and the trusted banking relationships we've built with our clients over the years.

WHAT CLIENTS CAN EXPECT AT WCCB

• Same trusted team – Our name tags, email addresses (@wccb.com) and business cards are new, yet our dedication to clients and the high level of service we deliver remains the same. We encourage clients to update their contacts, though our previous email addresses will continue to work.
• No changes to accounts – Account number(s) and our routing number remain the same. Account statements will have the new bank logo beginning with April statements.
• Checks and debit cards – Existing checks and debit cards may continue to be used. New WCCB checks may be ordered from a banker at the branch or within online banking (business only). We plan to begin reissuing debit cards mid-May. More details to come.
• Updated website – Our previous websites (sccountybank.com and 1stcapital.bank) redirect to our new address, but clients may wish to update browser bookmarks. Our homepage has a fresh look to help clients locate what they need more quickly. Other high-level product pages have been added for ease of finding information on products and services of interest, but the rest of the site should look familiar.
• Online banking – All services and functionality remain the same, though clients will see our new logo and a new background photo when they log in. Log in through our homepage at wccb.com with current credentials and update browser bookmark now.
• Mobile app – Our app will be available for update on mobile device(s) the week of April 7. All functionality remains the same within the app.
• Enhanced services and reach – We now have 10 branches across four counties, offering expanded lending options and even more ways to serve our clients and communities! Find our locations and visit us during our normal business hours weekdays from 9am to 5 pm.
